Hey Folks,

once again I need your help.
Last week the grease nipple of the steering rack (PAS) vanished.
So I need a new one, but I donˋt know the dimension of the thread.
Is it metric or inch?
I would be glad if someone could give a hint.

Best regards from Germany
Stefan
PS. Excuse any mistake in my writing.

It is likely that the right one is to find in the set of 130 grease nipples.
But it is also likely that I will never again need a grease nipple.
And I donˋt want to have 129 grease nipples lying around in my garage.

On my 1995 rack it’s definitely metric. I removed mine a couple of weekends ago as I thought it was blocked and needed a new one but it worked fine in the end. Anyway I remember spinning the bleed nipple onto a metric nut, M5 I think, to check what thread it had.

Just screw in a metric bolt into the bleed hole to check the thread diameter and pitch required before buying.
