Waze not on play store?

As the title, Waze started crashing on my phone so uhinstalled it to re install and now can't find it on play store but cones up on google search?
Is it just me?

I don't know specifically about Waze, but I know that app makers now seem to be able to specify exactly what machine it can be used on. I have searched for various apps for my Android tablet in the past and not found them (the recent Niantic Harry Potter game for example). I checked the store and Waze doesn't appear on the Play Store search results. But... if I type in Waze, it is there on the predictive search! It installed fine from there. Weird!

What phone do you have? Doesn’t play store hide it if it thinks your phone is not compatible?
Another option might be to side load the apk instead of going via the store

Strange had it on my Xperia Z3 moved over to a Z5 and it won't run.
You'd think a newer more powerful model would be better?
