Hi Folks

Is anyone aware of any popular card games which have a good following, together with the opportunity of discussing moves/hints and tips with fellow players, and the opportunity of entering competitions?

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. Have you heard of Poker?

wink

There is a Cribbage league in my local area if you were actually after serious suggestions beyond the obvious.

Someone at work is heavily into Magic: The Gathering if you are after something appropriate for your username.

I wouldn't normally brag about something like this but I actually represented Great Britain in the first ever televised World Series of Slippery Jack out in Vegas in 2003. I made the final table but Some Romanian bloke 'swapped my wheels' and I ended up with a 'deflating kipper'. Life could have been so different.

Mundle my bundles, BIG MOLE, I suspect you may just have been out-minty'd.

Vegas banned that move in 2004, so I feel you were a little unlucky.

It was the constant rule changes that made me give up playing professionally.

It did get silly. I moved to lesington, much more enjoyable and competitive.
