Was driving a long for a good 5 minutes and realised I had lost boost and a few seconds later I lost acceleration with a lot of popping from the exhaust and then the car completely cut out and won’t start back up.
I did replace the air filter and removed the cam angle sensor just prior, but I doubt this would of caused the issue, I’m pretty sure I put the sensor back in exactly as it came out..
Any help would be really appreciated
It’s a Nissan skyline R34 GTT

Everything was plugged in and tight.
Just took it off though and there was a lot of metal shavings inside so I’m assuming the sensor must of given up on me. lol

Or more likely it was refitted incorrectly and is now fked.

Not quite the same as it randomly giving up.

I believe it’s due to the CAS gasket missing which has caused it to be seated to far forward against the cam shaft.
I’ve only just realised this after some research.
Just had the timing belt replaced at a garage and I believe they must of not put the CAS gasket back in place.

Some can do yes.
