Wait......what......? Iker Lecuona is going to be the one to replace Zarco on the KTM MotoGP bike - https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/931848/1/iker-le...

I'm not sure how I would feel if I were Oliviera or Binder, KTM promoting a non-factory KTM rider who they regularly beat in Moto2 before them. When they will be on the Tech 3 KTMs next year. Unless KTM know it will be another dog and they don't want to completely ruin their careers as well.

I heard a coupe of good BSB rumours this weekend. Looks like Iddon is off to Buildbase and Ray is having his seat at Tyco. Potentially, build base are moving away from the Suzuki too, like OMG are going by moving to BMW for 2020 (although I don't know what bikes Buildbase are moving onto if not staying on GSXR's)
I'd imagine, with the domination of the Oxford and PMB bikes this year, there'll be a few non affiliated teams knocking on the door of Ducati to see if customer bikes are available

That article does look like quite a bit of speculation rather than hard fact. Seems an odd one though, and looks like a total gamble. To a certain extent Kallio isn't going to get hugely better at his age (and was totally dominated by Tito Rabat in Moto2).. However there may not be that much difference between Red Bull KTM and Tech 3 KTM, they need the development miles. I think there are some differences in spec so as not to confuse Olivera with new bits all the time. Next year he'll have had a year's experience and you'd think they'd like him to start helping develop the bike. Hafiz Syharin would no doubt destroy me on a trackday but the move back to Moto2 is probably best for all parties for him next season.

I was wondering if there’ll be a regulations change to peg back the Ducatis a bit. Their dominance at the weekend was very obvious and unusual for one manufacturer to have such an advantage in BSB.

Leon Camier and then everyone else without a ride will be texting PBM.

Edited to add, ok not Camier he's off to Barni Ducati in WSBK - https://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/931865/1/official-...

It's basically a free for all then for Redding's vacant ride. Anyone here interested? biggrin

Does Eugene Laverty have a ride for next year in WSB ? If not, perhaps PBM could tempt him

Alex Lowes is Rea's team mate at Kawasaki and Haslam is strongly rumoured to be taking Toprak's ride at Pucetti Kawasaki.

I don't see him beating Brookes in the showdown, or am I missing something?
