Has anyone experienced this? My internet works is working fine in the bedroom for example, but then as soon as I move into the living room it drops out and then reconnects again. Its the same everywhere in the house, moving kitchen to study or conservatory to living room. Very frustrating.

I've tried placing a wifi extender around the house but that makes no difference.

Happy to be put right on this, the extender might be the problem...technically it's a separate network, your phone/tablet is probably dropping out of one connection and re-connecting to the different one as you switch rooms. Try switching the extender off and just walking between rooms that the devices can receive the router's wifi signal.

Mine started doing that a dew months back. I found out it was down to the Virgin 'intelligent' wi-fi feature. Disabled that and all has been fine since

I have this issue for years with Sky broadband on my iPhone, their equipment does not work with Apple that well that it keeps dropping..

bit of an update, I've got a new hub from BT which has improved it a little but the problem is still there.

The thing I can't understand is why just moving from one room to another causes the internet to drop out when both rooms have a full speed connection??!

Did you try turning the extender off as previously mentioned?

Change the SSID & password on the 2.4G or 5G network, or disable the 5G network on the home hub.

BT are known for setting this up and it causes all sorts of Wifi problems.
