Is TVR buying MG ?

Bit of latest gossip for you, seems some people think that TVR might be in the running to buy MG from whats left of Rover......

Also, if they did the rumour is that they would move from Blackpool to the Birmingham plant, where they make MG's

What do you lot think?

I don't think that TVR buying MG components for the "Gran Tura coupé" (!) counts as a "link up". I can't see TVR building steel monocoques, so any new cars would be MG-badged TVRs. Longbridge is way to big for a specialist manufacturer (or MG Rover for that matter) anyway.
