General Financial Advice (Pension + Investments)

Hi, I’m looking for some financial advice. My wife and I are in our late 30s, early 40s and I want to ensure we use the next 20 years of our working lives wisely. To this end, I’m looking for someone to look at both our pensions, income, retirement aspirations and provide some advice, with a few illustration examples etc. Perhaps talk buy to let or commercial property opportunities and things we could start doing now to provide more income later.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to find such a company or individual? We are based in the SW. Up until now, the only financial advice I’ve received has been from my family, and would like to explore something a little more professional.
