Audi A6 Avant 2.0 tfsi
Discussion
As a PH newbie, thought i'd start by posting up my current steed, previously had many cars, last was a L322 Rangie V8
Looked lovely,

but .....what an absolute pile of horse s**t!.
Anyway, managed to offload that and pick up this 2 owner, low mileage 6 speed manual SE spec, local, bought new from Southampton Audi and only ever been serviced and MOT'd there too!....
I'm not one to leave things alone and like to tweak and make things my own, so firstly i got the rear windows tinted to a factory level, looks much better for it too.
from this...

to this...

Then it was time to look at improving the sounds.....the speakers are pretty good, but a cd changer is very 90's!
I managed to find a reasonably priced AMI unit on eBay, so swapped out the glovebox changer for this, so at least i can have all my iPod tunes, also bought a bluetooth adapter that i can use instead for spotify.
With that done, i got hold of the updated dvd sat nav...only to find you cant eject the bloody thing! I have now invested in the Carista app so a few simple mods could be done, including letting me change the dvd!
Just to finish improving the interior i upgraded to the much nicer 3 spoke s line steering wheel and matching gearknob, and then some red led's for the front footwells and i swapped out the interior light unit for one that included the red led mood lighting..
much nicer......

Really smart that, and in very good nick judging by the photos. I am a serial Audi fan, but the C6 shape is one I never bought myself. Still looks like one of the modern crop. Someone on here has a 3.0 TFSI Quattro which is the flavour I'd like!
Enjoy it as is, and look for something more interesting when the time comes.

I loved my 2007 (pre-facelift) 2.0TFSI S-Line A6 Avant. Did a number of retrofits such as MMI 3G, parking system plus (front, rear and visual - no camera), AMI.
I only got rid because the oil pump failed (whilst I was outside of my local Audi dealer no less), and the cost to repair was going to be astronomical.
Get the oil pickup checked at the earliest opportunity.

Thanks for the headsup.....I only got rid because the oil pump failed (whilst I was outside of my local Audi dealer no less), and the cost to repair was going to be astronomical.

It is in amazing condition, bought brand new from Southampton Audi and it has been serviced and MOT'd there ever since!
Since those photos it does now sport a S-Line grille (bit of a workup to change!) and some pressed number plates
After yet another night shift spent browsing eBay, i managed to secure an S-Line grille for super cheap!,
Took a bit of effort to fit as the whole bumper needs to come off, but at least being german it unbolts pretty easily, now sporting some metal plates too and a subtle metal scuff plate on the bumper for the dog!

Well as ive had the car for nearly 6 months, time for an update.......well apart from doing everything that ive asked of it, there is nothing to report! had a family holiday down in Cornwall recently, even took the dog and the Audi swallowed it all up admirably. The only thing of note is that the 2.0T does struggle when fully loaded!
But even with the struggles and corresponding heavy right foot, it still averaged 34mpg, so cant really complain!

Very nice, those C6 avants are pretty cars. The last of the Audi without the shouty looks. Used to own one too, albeit with a larger engine.
Sorry for off/ - I have a complete set of original unused rear led lighties (all four clusters) gathering dust in the garage, which I'm willing to part with for not much. PM if you're interested.
