News website/app without subs

[anonymous-user]

Recently the website I had set as my homepage has started adding a subscription to read the full article but still shows headlines free. . . . upon trying others this seems to be the norm. What app/website is customisable to my interests without paying subs? TIA

Do you get a certain number of articles for free as a non-subscriber?

If so, open it from an incognito/private tab and it should let you read what you want.

I do this with our local rag, I only go there for the comments, it's worse than this place

I quite like using news.google.co.uk.

If you're signed in to a Google account you can even specifically exclude sources depending on your preferences.
