2009 BMW 330D convertible auto. No FSH worth buying?
Discussion
Was looking at a 2009 330D hard top convertible which is selling way below market price (like 1800 pounds below) but has a couple of issues. Was wondering if this is still worth the purchase? The issues are
1 key fob
Leaky oil casket
6 owners
Had no SH at all
Had a collision thus 2 headlights need to be replaced + bumper (owner bought a replacement)needs to be resprayed and blended with bonnet and side wings.
Dent at the boot.
To get everything done up (including buying a new key) would lead me to buying the car at about 6100 ( still a 800 pound discount to its worth according to autotrader)
However, im quite concerned about the no of owners and it having no SH.
It passed all MOTs without advisories.
Would it be ok for me to buy it and send it in to a trusted mechanic for an assessment or perhaps fix it up?

Hi OP.
I think you are the guy that had the crashed BMW that you eventually sold to the garage after considering keeping and repairing etc?
I think you admitted in that thread that you weren’t very clued up about how garages etc worked? If so, I’d advise you to steer clear of this. It simply doesn’t seem worth it to try to save a few hundred quid. Just go get one with FSH and some warranty. This one isn’t for you!

MOTs were skipped in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Don’t like the wheels much.

Fixed the link for you
I also checked the MOT history and you’re right.
I wouldn’t touch this car with a barge pole. Even at 3 grand it’s a risk
