Picked up my ipad/phone this morning and it has sent about a dozen messages to various people.
Messages are gibberish but some have attachments like a webpage or photo which I have visited or taken.
Nobody has access to it and other than being “hacked” I can’t understand how it could have happened!
Any ideas?

If that happened to me I would reset the iPhone/iPad and then change my Apple ID password through a browser on a different device.

Yep have done already. I’d just concerned as to why it’s happened

It does sound strange and I would be concerned too.

Hopefully that is the end of it!

What's the new password?

My XSMax started doing this when we were in Florida and ended up needing the screen replaced which an Apple store in Orlando did swiftly to their credit - it was a fault in the digitizer causing false inputs.
