Friend of mine tells a story about some dodgy non Italians in Italy side swiping his car and demand money for a new mirror, no idea if true

On the way to Le Mans one year there were some shady blokes waving at non local cars trying to get them to stop, no idea what it was all about

Stories from when we were kids about British families being gassed in French service stations so their caravan could be robbed

Waiting at the last toll before Grenoble with a crowbar, a gypsy in a new van kept overtaking, break checking etc. A common event apparently, it lasted 100+ miles wife and kids in the car so superspeed wasn’t sensible. He wouldn’t come through to receive my domination. It was pre dawn.
