BMW E46 loss of power

Hi
I’ve a 2010 BMW 320i that’s going into low power mode and bringing the engine management light on. I’ve put a diagnostic reader on and am getting 2D20...pedal travel sensor I think. Seems to be a lot of conflict on forums that changing this will fix the problem. Any info would be welcome
