Leak in boot of vantage v8 convertible
Discussion
Ive got an 09 plate v8v convertible, there has recently been some very heavy rain and ive noticed that the boot is mostly on the "bottom right floor" of the boot and the "top right inside ceiling of the boot" see photos below.
Although there has been heavy rain recently i had noticed the boot being damp a few weeks ago, and thought i must have left a wet pair of shoes in there, but this seems this is not the case.
Ive checked the 2 drainage holes in the photos attached, but they look fine upon visual inspection. I do have a can of compressed air i could blow down them if required though ?
Any ideas where the leak is coming from and what can be done to fix it ?

I think it must be your car crying to itself because it has to carry golf bats/balls and that ancient steering wheel lock in its boot.
No seriously - I would start by pouring water down those drain holes whilst someone looks under the car to see if they are draining properly. If so then the rubber seal may need replacing. Does it look intact?

Check the drainage hole in the fuel filler cap as well. Be very wary of this leak. The main fuse box is just under the bottom left of the boot... a few years back in my previous Vantage Roadster I had a similar leak and after a big rainstorm like we have been having, the car was completely dead... Needed a new fuse box and the wiring harness end-points thoroughly cleaned and dried out. So, do find the leak and address it. My new car is now always under a cover when not being used, just in case.
I did some exploring over the weekend and found 2x further drains (drain 3+4 in the photos attached) when having the roof half open.
Drain 4 was quiet clogged, but i cleaned all of them out, removing any gunk, blowing them with an air duster, then running water through them with a watering can.
What i noticed was a large amount of pooled water by drain 4, which i wondered if it could have been building up and and causing the leak on the right hand side of the boot (where it is wettest). I cleared the standing water and will monitor if it comes back.
I checked the fuel filler cap, drain but could not find any drain hole there, see photo attached, any idea where it is ?
Also are there drain holes to be cleaned at the front of the car ?
