Super V8 stereo code issue

Hi
I have a pre production 02 350 Super V8.
I recently had the steering wheel retrimmed, that meant taking the battery connection off. The issue i have now is that the stereo and TVs don’t work. I don’t have the code. Jag don’t have the code. I’m a member of the JEC and they cant help. Does anyone have any ideas? I’m completely at a loss.
Any ideas or help will be gratefully received.

Just out of curiosity why that code?

The codes are unique so unlikely that is the correct one.

Try pressing >> and A.MEM and PTY at the same time, this bypasses the code on early versions of the radio.

Alternatively you can find the serial number on the bottom of the radio and use this service https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XJ-RADIO-UNLOCK-... and they will provide you the correct PIN code.
