Reaching out to the collective knowledge with an issue I have with the climate / cabin blower on my 2009 Vantage. First problem is that in manual mode the fan only blows through one of the 3 positions at a time, if I want both screen and driver air then all I get is screen. Turn the screen off and it comes through the driver vents. Just had the pollen filters checked and they are new having been replaced at last service.

Second issue is that in auto mode I can set a temperature at the start of a journey and it seems to regulate to that pretty quickly, but then as the journey progresses I find the temp coming out of the blowers decreasing, i.e. becoming more chilly. Gets to the point where I have to turn the desired temp up around 5-6Deg to get back to comfortable.

Outside temp sensor was replaced a while ago and seems to read OK, the temp gauge on the dash sits in the middle of the range most of the time.

What's the deal??

Cheers

Have you tried using a thermometer to see whether the system is actually holding the desired target internal temperature?

The climate control system will anticipate cooling needs based upon the solar energy it senses coming through windshield, and therefore blow colder when the sun is shining.

Also, if you're not getting air into footwell that may lead to it sensing higher internal temp.
