Repsray/Wheel Refurbish in S.East
Discussion
It's got to the point where the front of the Griff looks like someone's flicked tipp-ex all over it so it's time to accept that a front end respray is on the cards. Also, my alloys are starting to look a little past their best so I'm interested in possibly getting them refurbished and just what hassle this would cause me.
So could anybody recommend people to do the above? I live in Burgess Hill, kind of halfway between Brighton and Gatwick. The respray is the main prority as I really don't like the scruffy appearance of the front of the car.
Any recommendations, as well as ideas on costs very much appreciated. Thanks in advance and apologies for the rubbish spelling in the title that I've just noticed!!

Ewelme Coachworks, if its not too far for you (they are not very far from Reading).
They do the paint work on my race car - at Combe on Monday I had a number of people commenting that the paintwork was better than new cars coming out of Blackpool!

I believe that some of the TVR Independents send their wheels to "Spit and Polish" for refurbishment.

I would recommend Austec for the re-spray. They did an excellent job on the Chim. Shame i had to sell it afterwards.
Ollie is a perfectionist(sp?) so you're bound to have a brill job.
I'm thinking of having it done pretty soon. What was the damage and how long did it take etc.?
Thanks, Simon

I did it through insurance as a pikey barstool took to my car with a set of keys (all over!), but the total cost to the insurance company was over £6K!(full respray) It took about a month too, but it did come out looking excellent. That reminds me i need to get the pics from Paul.
Go speak to James at Dream Machines in Heathfield, 20 miles or thereabouts from you. DM tie up with CG Coachworks just down the road from DM and they are extremely good at glassfibre repairs and resprays. DM also use an outfit that does on site work for alloy wheels.
If you speak to James mention me - Ian (Reflex Charcoal T350T)..... cheers
