PCP Mileage Change
Discussion
Hi
I bought a car through PCP on Wednesday. However, on Friday I was offered a new job further afield and will now obviously incur more miles.
Does anybody know if there is a way to increase the mileage through the finance company (Blackhorse). The dealer said they aren't able to their end so to contact Blackhorse. Before I do I wanted to post here to see anybodies take on it.
Anybody have any experience of upping their mileage agreement during their deal?
Thanks

Ah ok.
Does going over the milegae not affect the future value that they gave me? I intend on trading the car in anyways to be fair when the deal is up as opposed to keeping it.
If you are going to trade the car in then the mileage limits won't be applicable.Does going over the milegae not affect the future value that they gave me? I intend on trading the car in anyways to be fair when the deal is up as opposed to keeping it.
At trade in time the car will be valued based on the condition / mileage it is presented in, just as any other trade in.

Some say that if you terminate the lease a couple of months or so early you don't even have to pay the excess mileage charges although apparently you might with VW.
But who knows.
And on that bombshell.............
Except, the OP does not have a lease. But who knows.
And on that bombshell.............
All the same , you borrow a car you can't afford to buy then send it back and hope for the best.
