M3 Folding Mirrors

Another thought how easy is it if at all, to upgrade the E46 standard mirrors to the folding ones. Also any idea what the costs are.

Would't bother, IMO. (Both my M3s have had folding mirrors and I use them very rarely, and they can always be manually folded anyway)
