99 ways to die. I bought the Beavis and Butthead experience CD when I was but a little'un and it's the song that got me into Megadeth.
Canadee-i-o by Nic Jones makes me shiver every time I hear it. Heard it on 6 music (thank you Cerys Matthews) and ended up watching the good man play it with his son in Cambridge after decades away from the stage.
I also really love White wine in the sun by Tim Minchin. Not really tired to an event but just a really good Christmas song that makes me tear up.
And lastly I want the full, album version of Consideration by Reef played at my funeral. Of you were to leave your loved ones with a message, I think "it's gonna be alright" over and over again to fade is a hard one to beat.

Yeah I argued with myself for ages about it, given its about the death of two people, but decided the fact I liked it so much I had to have it somewhere. As much as I wanted it for a first dance I felt that was a little morbid, so decided to have it as background music whilst cutting cake as it meant I could get away with it. Nobody who was there knew the song anyway and even less so what it was about. It was ideal to be honest.My wife also knows that I want it at my funeral.

Well, it is your day after all and sounds like you slipped it in without it being too obvious. That song always reminds me of my Great Uncle John, he died around the time Bleed American was released.My wife also knows that I want it at my funeral.

We did follow it up with Shinedown, "I'll follow you" as our first dance, which now makes me a bit emotional when I hear it.

Great song. I was fortunate enough to see him at Winchester Theatre Royal in 2013, a tiny venue. Couldn't get tickets for his upcoming tour this year which I was gutted about.La Liga said:

Not their strongest, except for the third track 'Delivery' which I think goes into the top 10 of songs they've ever written.

Love the band but they'll never get near Clarity / Bleed American again. Thankfully they play loads from those albums when they play live.
