Anyone else playing this?

I’m only about 50% sure what I’m doing at this stage as I’ve not played these interactive strategy games before, but it seems a decent!

Do you spend actual money on in app purchases to buy speed ups etc?

I refuse to and it feels like it takes ages, getting bored. Open app, start building something / send troops off for more supplies... gonna take 5 hrs... oh well, I’ll pop back tomorrow and repeat.

I have bought the monthly pack... allows scheduling and also gives you some daily gems. I generally refuse to speed up or buy any other packs, treat it as sort of an 'entertainment spending' for the price of the monthly!

Growth Pack (I think, is also worth buying in terms of rewards per levels for the £ it costs, better than any pack in the game in terms of VFM)

It takes a while to build up....

Key tip, is bind your account to facebook, then create another account on the server to also build up (spend nothing on it!) and use as a farm, bind it as your second account and use it to boost resource collection etc and then just hit it to get the resources (build some lvl 2 cav to farm lots of resources per hit)
