Tax Credits - How Much do YOU Owe?

The Inland Revenue want their money back.

They have apparently given away [b]£2 BILLION[/b] too much on Tax Credits and now they want those people who received too much to pay it back.

I predicted two years ago that [b]THIS[/b] was the moment when the Tax Credit system would start falling apart.

Let's see what transpires.

The main problem is that it is based upon predicting you future earnings for the next year rather than on last years.

I predicted my earnings, my circumstances changed and I told them at which time they reduced our payments to compensate.

Apparently, I am now told that they didn't reduce them enough and I have ended up owing them £135

This is accompanied by the farcical 3 copies of every letter that comes from them (which totally confuses as I lose track of where I stand, and obviously costs 3 times as much)

nice to know that our money isn't being wasted isn't it!!
