Been doing a few bits of maintainance before teh Le Mans trip.

Thought I take the dizzy cap off and see what the contacts and rotor arm where like.

:yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes::yikes:

The contact that sits on top of the rotor arm fell off when I took the dizzy... No wonder I was having the odd cold starting issue it was probably flying all over the place. seems the screw holding it down had fallen out..
now replaced with better looking one :cloudnine:

Don't worry stesrg you're not alone. I did exactly the same thing
Oh and I've got the dizzy cap, rotor arm and alternator belt on order from TMS TVR.
Apart from oil, water, bulbs and an otter switch override bit of cable I trust there are no other bits I should be taking?
