Planned to view a car tomorrow from a certain national dealer network that fits my requirements.
I've realised that the network in question are experiencing some difficulties at the moment and are closing a number of their branches.

This has scared me somewhat. I don't yet know if the branch I am visiting will be closing but I was wondering if this is as big of a red flag as it seems or if I should still be safe potentially going through with the purchase if I like the car? If I do like it and pay, is my money safe or not? Hypothetically if the entire company were to fold before I got the car, what would happen?

As long as the car is under £30,000, you’re covered for the full value of the car by section 75 if you use a credit card for the deposit.

It's 31500 so would that mean only the first 30k would be covered?

They are one of thew biggest Dealer groups in the country (were the biggest for a while). I doubt they will be going away, just restructuring IMO.
