I believe this is French frigate La Motte-Picquet.

Had to do some digging, as the ship flight radar equivalent only stated that it was French. Maritime patrol vessels are not uncommon in and around the Clyde, it was the missiles that caught my eye.

Any joint manoeuvres on or due?

Joint Warrior starts in a couple of weeks. Based in Scotland this year. Would be a good guess.

Cheers Guys.

Rob, reports are it's on standby to chaperone a consignment of Tunnock's Caramel Logs to Calais on November 1st.

The French assault vehicle Tonnerre sitting parked up off the esplanade is going to get assaulted by me tonight, if it’s still making the bloody house vibrate and resonate with its engines - actually woke the kids up!!

Same thought here, it looks like that pic could have been taken in the ‘50s.
