As I've been a lazy arsed bastid for the last 18 months or so, but I'm back in the gym.

I have a pair of Do-Win Gong Lu II shoes which fit well and very comfortable - only they've disappeared. Can't find them anywhere. irked

I bought them from Amazon who no longer list them. My google-fu has let me down so far, anyone know where to get them?
Any other suggestions welcome, though I have quite wide feet and the Do-Wins are/were very wide fit.

I am guessing your referring to shoes that you can squat in? are you planning on competing? if not I wouldn't bother, just wear something with a flat sole, converse or similar can be good for squatting as they offer a lot of stability.

Unless your just looking to concentrate on your squat, then you should be doing other exercises along with your squat, this then means changing shoes as they aren't really suitable for much else other than squats and deadlifts.

I would just recommend a comfy pair of flat soled trainers, can do anything in them then.

I wouldn’t deadlift in weightlifting shoes. The raised heel wouldn’t help in anyway.

Weightlifting shoes are useful for all squat variants and Olympic lifting.

Basically just Olympic lifting, snatch and clean and jerk. Probably help with squatting if you're chasing big numbers or competing. I've never worn them, but my squat is beyond the help of some hard heels biggrin

I have the same pair of Adidas powerlifts, I bought years ago. They’re excellent for all standing work, squats, deads and are the best for overhead.
