Reports that nothing found at his house to suggest it was a terrorist/religiously motivated attack but that there were issues between him and his manager.

Seems like some subtle contradiction in news reports
"According to Interior Minister Christophe Castaner, Harpon was a 45-year-old IT specialist who had worked for the Paris police force for 16 years.
Officials said he had been working in the force's intelligence division.
Mr Castaner said there had been no warning signs about the attacker, adding: "On the face of it, he looked a model employee."
Harpon also had a hearing and a speech disability.
He converted to Islam 18 months ago, according to reports, and had recently stopped talking to female colleagues in the office. But a government spokeswoman has said there is no indication he had been radicalised before the attack.
Police have searched his home in the north of the city and found no evidence that he was radicalised.
Computer equipment seized from Harpon's home is now being examined, French media report".
One report says he was effectively deaf and dumb, BBC say he had recently stopped speaking to women colleagues....?

All I’ve read so far is that he was a timid chap who kept to himself, married with two kids (9&3), converted to Islam 18 months ago but prior to this the family showed no signs of religion.
Whether it was religiously motivated or him having a mental breakdown, it’s awful that so many lives are lost and ruined due to his actions.

But it is a familiar story for it first to be attributed to mental breakdown and then be quietly attributed to terrorism later.Enquiry now passed to anti-terror investigator.

"Keeping people calm". Or maybe it's simply not assuming anyone brown who does something bad is a "snackbar" as some of you like to put it.
If new evidence comes to light that point to terrorism then it's kind of obvious that you follow it as they have.
But I see nothing unusual in the information released and the timing of it.
I think some of you like to see conspiracies everywhere.

Tbh "lying", initially, isn't the worst idea. It prevents panic and irrational/idiotic retaliation/reaction "...coz theyz allda same innit bruv...". Look into the actual reason not the suspected If new evidence comes to light that point to terrorism then it's kind of obvious that you follow it as they have.
