914 restoration

I’m not linked to the car or seller. It popped up on Facebook and basically at the end of the ad it asks ‘what’s it worth’.

Apparently engine runs, but been left sitting and as you can make out there is a lot of rot.

My view is that by the time you’ve done the work and bought at some agreeable price, the car would be there or thereabouts market value? Though just read about some examples selling for way more than I’d expect.

Great little cars but it would have to be a labour of love to tackle that one !
The sill box sections will be in a right mess, huge job to get some rigidity back into it.

You will not breakeven on a restoration, certainly not these days. As a restoration project the car is basically not worth anything and any value would be in breaking the car and selling the parts. Definitely a labour of love if you decide to restore it !
