Evening all,

I'm having problems with my Fiesta 65 plate and I'm hoping the collective brains on here can help?

Occasionally the left rear indicator doesn't work when indicating/unlocking, then will work again for a while, then may not work once, then is ok again, then won't work, it's a random patten.

I've put new bulbs in, it all looks clean inside the rear lights so I don't think it's damage/damp/shorting. All the other lights seem unaffected.

Ford have said that they will take a look, but it chargeable and until they know the issues won't give me a price.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

When it is not working, have you tried to probe the circuits to check whether power is getting to the connector at the light cluster?

Likely to be either a wiring/plug issue being damaged/loose or the connector for the central connector of the bulb bent slightly too far in meaning the bulb only intermittently makes contact.

This.

Probably cheaper to buy replacement bulb holder and new bulbs than to have it confirmed.

Afternoon All,

A friend who does electronics went though all the wiring he could see, all looked ok,

Was trying to see if I can get hold of a fiend who has a fiesta, hoping that I could try swapping the rear lights over to see if its the unit itself or wiring,

Ford are obviously not that busy as they are chasing to see when I want to book it in.
