Sad news, a plane that I’ve listened to flying over several times before and had the pleasure of watching it lumber into the air out of Bucharest a few year ago.
Initial reports suggest fuel starvation and looking at the replay of its flight on FR24 it looked pretty slow even for an AN12.
RIP to the crew.

This is interesting if true, both aircraft were ferried back yesterday from Liverpool(UK):
Since this morning Ukraine Air Alliance is no longer listed in EASA's list of approved Third Country Operators (TCO) and is therefore no longer permited to enter European Airspace.
All aircraft (i.e. UR-CZZ and UR-CNT) have been ferried or are being ferried back to base in Chernivtsi, Ukraine.
It is true, I just checked!

Heard something noisy going over the office late last week and FlightRadar had it as an AN-12 coming into Liverpool.Since this morning Ukraine Air Alliance is no longer listed in EASA's list of approved Third Country Operators (TCO) and is therefore no longer permited to enter European Airspace.
