Let’s see the cars guys and please post your driving impressions.

It rained on my way to the ppf place so I can’t post yet as I need some top down fun.

Are you getting one? I'd love to get up close with a speedster and get some really cool photos with one.

I saw one in Germany, it was massively underwhelming. Still good to one actually moving.

Wow, bit harsh guys.

The car essentially has the power of a batch 2 GT3 RS with a manual, no roof, it’s own chassis and a unique body. It has individual throttle bodies and for the first time since the CGT a GT car can go topless. Also the heritage front bumper and fender flares in white are paint. The heritage cognac interior would cost over £30k from CXX.

I do think it is pricey, but when you take the above into consideration along with the relatively limited production, it is quite special. I think this is the most special 991 of them all, but hey that’s just me.

With the roof off I think it looks great. With it on, not so much. Also driving with the roof on is quite underwhelming.

A couple pics is all I have at the moment as weather has been lousy.

A yellow character (Simpsons?) is driving the car

I saw one a few months ago in grey and thought it looked quite good. Not my type of car (not a convertible person), but better than a normal 911 convertible and wouldn’t mind owning one

really does look and feel like a gt3 pickup conversion. And the interior is just too normal. For 250 bags.
The above made me laugh, but leaving aside the marketing, stickers, price, etc. (Market will decide if its value or not). Its what its actually like to drive that interests me more.

It really is great to drive. It feels very light and very ridged, like a CF Tub "Spider "car, planted even with the roof down, rides very much like a GT3 Touring, but with the new Gen 3 engine the throttle pick up is faster, sounds louder also, it also feels very fast through the gears. With the roof up almost zero wind noise even at very high speed. But its with the roof down that the SP really comes in to its own. Really is an exciting car to drive. As soon as the rain stops mine will be on track.

Looks unique and different to the norm so although a bit odd its also cool at the same time!

What I really need is you to coach me on how to approach my OPC to obtain multiple GT’s you’ve managed to obtain 3RS.2 2RS,TOURING WP3RS and SPEEDSTER, incredible!!!

How do you do it or do you have a fleet of Panamera Chauffeur cars as well ?

I thought my 4-1/2 year road to get one new GT car was an achievement and now I think it will be another 3 or 4 years before I can get another cry

It’s a question born out of pure jealousy but at least I’m being honest

My goal would be to obtain a 992 GT2RS if such as beast ever breaks cover and the car is still pure GT

Here's mine. I choose not to opt for the heritage pack. I figured most cars would go that way ( a bit like silver and brown CGT's) so went Lava with a good smattering of CXX options. Just need to ship it to the alps now and enjoy on some deserted Alpine roads smile

Are the numbers not exclusive to a particular car, as i have 70 on a couple of other cars?

Congratulations. Did not manage to get an allocation but would have gone Lava (as no PTS) if it had worked out.

I have to say I really wanted one of these when I saw the original concept car , but after seeing one in the metal I think the 718 Spyder is a much nicer looking car and is also a better size for road use smile

I will thank you

And

I know he does thumbup my question is how does one get into such a position with the OPC.

My 4-1/2 courtship with my OPC has been more exhausting than years of dating, followed by marriage,Kids and Grand Kids yikes

I’m over the moon to have got one car let alone multiple cars biggrin

My OPC were pretty keen to spread the love which IMO is not a bad thing or I may not have been so lucky biggrin

I agree with you especially when you factor in the Speedster costs three times as much as the new Spyder..Have you had your new 718 Spyder yet.?

The older Spyder looks like somewhat of a bargain!
