Very nicely finished and handle well. Everything feels top quality. They’re pretty nutty (I am used to a CB1100 though!), it really did have a stupendous, unending burst all the way to the redline but was happy to bimble too. Seat & riding position were comfy.
They’re certainly in my book one of the nicest looking quick naked bikes!

You didn't find it weirdly vibey? And a bit twitchy on a constant throttle?
Not really-certainly nothing out of the ordinary. The throttle response felt absolutely electric compared to my CB1100 though.I want to keep my current bike when the PCP is up next year but could be tempted to have another look at the CB1000R if the deal is right.
I wanted to have a look at one at my local Honda dealer on Sat when I popped in because I had a warranty issue on my SX I got from them and found they had shut up shop, I bought my first big bike there 25 years ago, I think Honda are struggling to shift units but the new CB range looks great.
OP that looks lovely. I particularly like the engine casings. Reminds me a bit of an Indian Scout. Not ridden one though
PCP deals coming home to roost apparently. I asked and they were either p/x bikes or PCP hand-backs.
The trouble is, not many people are going to be spending £8k-£10k on a few year old bike when they can PCP a new one for the same monthly or less (assuming that £8k-£10k is financed privately). And not many cash buyers for bikes of that value.

Popped into my local Honda dealer (Grantham) last week and was shocked at the amount of stock they've got. They seem to be overflowing with 3 yr old fireblades and africa twins.PCP deals coming home to roost apparently. I asked and they were either p/x bikes or PCP hand-backs.

I test rode one. I found it buzzy through the pegs and groin in all gears and at all rpm's, I couldn't find a spot were it didn't cease to buzz. The Fireblade is much smoother, albeit a different bike. https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/reviews/bike...

I have a KTM GT, lovely.

I’d take a few tingles over the Ktm looks ?? although they were great value when on offer a year ago
Never before on any bike but the KTM since March, where I've been stopped, fuel station, services and work, a lady, on each occasion has commented 'nice bike'.The girls like it, maybe because it's orange and some ladies love the orange look.

The new ones? They're quicker than a fireblade to 100mph!?
Are they?Hondas marketing gumph state quicker 0-80 than a blade.
That's great if you like standing launches, does that mean it's quicker 30-80?
Is it quicker from 10-80?
It's a figure being used to sell the bike, it doesn't feel as fast or have as much oomph as other nakeds. It's like the earlier model - a bit meh.
