A question to pistonheads?
Why is pistonheads not advertising for new members on social media?
Why don't we have new stickers yet?
Why is there less and less people using the forum?
If we don't use this place it's only going to get worse come on guys let's get the fourm buzzing again, it was always great to catch up on car related stuff but meets have disappeared, or is it now all on Face ache?

Why have you blocked the post guys?
It was meant to ask a few questions.
Also the link did not take me to the stickers cheers

Post has not been "blocked", simply moved to the most appropriate forum: Website Feedback.

Don't worry after seeing a recent very reasonable thread deleted last night a few people are starting to think hmmmmmmm.

Because then we'd have lots of the sort of people who join groups because they saw an advert on social media hehe

Forums are a dead and dying medium, have been for years now, we should count ourselves lucky that PH still even exists.

i

Well that makes three of us, at least.

Cannot recall anything that warranted deletion in the thread and the fact that no reason at all was given seems odd.

If that’s the case who took a bath on the purchase price or sale price of PH recently?

PH is mainly a car sales platform (for non forum users), that's what was purchased and the forum came with it. The forum makes no money whereas the sales platform does. If 'Joe Public' knows about PH it will primarily be as a sales/ news platform not a forum.

It was bought for and has value for the classifieds, not the forums.

To my idea there's more money in advertising which is where traffic comes in, mainly generated by articles on the front page but don't discount forum traffic. The owners of this place would be daft not to apply whatever tactic they can to maximize traffic.

Ps Stuff like Sunday Services are unique things which should be cherished by all of us (in the UK, I wish they'd be organized on the continent too).
