Ultra slim 32” TVs

It seems TVs have gotten fatter! I have been searching for the slimmest 32” TV I can find and all the really slim ones - 30mm-50mm are all old models now discontinued. The current models seem to generally be 70mm-90mm.

Any suggestions on where to get a really slim tv?

I want to mount it on an electric tv lift behind a chest of drawers, which is why slim is important - so the chest doesn’t have to sit too far off the wall.

I read it was something to do with modern TV's being backlit instead of sidelit, for a better picture. Downside is it makes them fatter.
