Looking for a daily hack (so that I can spend more on a weekend toy)

Looking for something around the 5k mark.

-heated seats
-xenon lights
-panoramic roof or sunroof
-saloon or hatchback
-automatic
-0-60 8 secs or so
-under £325 road tax

Any suggestions?

I thought that too as I got an E90 330i with sunroof, Bi-Xenons and power folding mirrors this year, to replace an E91 325i with heated seats!

Mine were both manual, but there must be some around that tick all the boxes for the OP.

Very tricky, BMW a 330i/325i with all of those boxes ticked would be well above 5k.

Also has the advantage of there being plenty of them being the top SE-L trim level.

Mine even has cooled seats (not sure if that's standard or an option).

The performance and handling is more 'leisurely' than a 330i but they make perfect daily drivers.

(Finally, on the autos, the flappy paddles don't do what you would expect them to do, but that's the only downside of the car).

Something made by Volvo I'd say, saloon models tend to be a big saving over estates

There are a couple I have found, unless the OP could manage with a Coupe (I have two kids and manage with the Coupe smile )
