Rice (to eat) & Andrex wet tissues (to wipe) - the Aloe Vera ones are good. Also Diarolyte to drink.

No remedies alas, but what foresight you had in choosing your username.

Diarolyte or just a home made mix of salt & sugar in water. Rice and curds/ live yoghurt.

Imodium if you can get to a pharmacy...

Just to cheer you up, I had it for two weeks and lost a pound in weight each day, every day. O/H quarantined me on the top floor and left trays on the stairs. Communication was by text or email, she was only two floors down.

I felt totally wrecked, never been so ill. Sitting on the crapper was like turning on a fire hose, I swear it lifted me off the seat and all because I'd had a mug of tea at a friend's house where his grandson had been wiping germs all over the place. When I mentioned it afterwards his wife said, "Oh yes, we've all had that..."

Probably not recommended by Dr's but if you were in hospital they would probably give you laxative to clear out system. . . I recon a few fast pints of cheap best bitter and a curry from a dodgy indian or any other combo that normally gets your juices flowing mate. . . deff don't bung it up with tabs.

Good luck

no they wouldn't give you laxative!!!

you'd get an IV and a drip to replace lost fluids

thanks folks defo not as bad as Riley Blue situation. Through the worst of it down a total of 3.5kg at lowest (im 74.5kg) ish normal. Havn't been hungry for 3 days just a slice of toast as something to pass through the system.

Last night I decided on a risky fry up of fried duck eggs and fried bread as a fry up gives you constipation. Bit rumblely at night but been fine and had 1 meal today. Still down a bit of weight but I can feel hunger coming back.

Side effect I have bad eczema and this has been alot better when ill.... I guess the body can't fight too much at once and eczema is the body fighting itself when it shouldnt.

Used to have some white liquid to drink in the navy, called Cement, did the trick.

Had this a couple of months back. Horrendous - lasted about two weeks and to be honest, it's still a little sloppier than ideal down there. Got checked out and nothing out of the ordinary so just a case of riding it out.

As mentioned, rice, lots of water and wet wipes. A few baths rather than showers is good but avoid farting whilst in one - just to be safe.

I would avoid using any 'Stop Diarrhoea in its Tracks' type medicine. As unpleasant as it is, its your body attempting to rid itself of something that shouldn't be there so just let it do its job(bies).

I was going to say just suck it up but best not! But you know what I mean.

That's a new one on me and I'd be avoiding any fried foods.
