Nary a week goes by we don't enjoy a curry.

Although, mrs is away on work this weekend, we might "miss" the occasion!

this explains why my work is serving 5 different curries every single day this week. its a shame the food my canteen produce is st...and yet they're meant to be the largest caterers in london/UK.

id love to make a korma. thing is so many recipes out there are vastly different.

Clearly you need to try out the many different types. Curry is wonderful and has far more flavour than most other food available in the UK.

O/H has requested I cook a Thai curry this evening, colour unspecified, so it'll be a coin-toss. Place your bets...

Spotted this thread a few days ago. Didn't realise. Going to be making a keema tonight. Actually trying Lazzat's masala mix rather than a former colleague's family recipe (which I normally use).

Just had a "Japanese" chicken&potato curry with rice for lunch at work. It was epic.

I'm a big curry fan, and I'm fortunate to visit India reasonably regularly with work - and when there I get to eat quality curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner - bliss!

The question arises though, for tonight - which one? I love a good Biryani, which would likely be with Lamb, or I could go with a (Pakistani) Achar Gosht Masala... decisions, decisions....?

For anyone wondering the CTM is okay, the "smoky" flavour is more bonfire than tandoor.

Wouldn't buy again but to do better myself would take 36 hours so for a quick non-mess dinner for a tenner you can;t complain too much.

Didn't think it was too bad, starters of pakora, bahji and samosas, okay rice and CTM.

But then... I am needed to leave room for a bottle of Plan de Dieu.

Must admit though, I am starting to watch my intake (lost 7kg in last few months)

Not of the age to be knocking back 20 units and 2000 calories for dinner any more frown
