Visa Payments - In euros and staying there!
Discussion
We're looking at taking credit card payments where the majority of our sales are in Euros.
At the moment the merchant services people we've spoken to are saying "no problem you can process the transaction in Euros, we'll convert to sterling for your payment".
However, we need the funds to stay in Euros as that's what the majority of our costs are in, we have Euros accounts in the UK for exactly this reason and currently clients pay us in Euros so we are not exposed to any currency risk.
Does anyone have any experience of processing a card payment in euros and then having euros credited to euro account?

We do just that, we use Wirecard and HSBC and all Euro transactions through Wirecard go to the Euro account, and sterling into the Sterling account. Seemed easy enough to get it set up like that.
It didn't work with Paypal though (as they will take payment in Euro and only transfer to sterling account) and you can't have a debit card on the account (so you need to pay a international payment fee each payment or use a Fair FX / Revolut card to top up in bulk (usually 1% fee to load it in the same currency)
Hope that helps
