Another Mystery Car ( hopefully not for long)

For my sins i like watching all the 1950/60's British movies on Talking Pictures
As an aside the 'Glimpses series do come up with some gems now and again

I saw this on a film and paused it to take this pic. apologies for the quality
Unfortunately no front view

Film was a 1950's B movie and was shown on 19 March 2018!! Never made a note of the title

Initial thoughts
Not A Citroen Traction Avant either Light or Heavy

Might be an AC or Alvis saloon

Other than that ???????

It's a four-light Riley Kestrel, a 12/4 of around 1935 I think.

Well it certainly is not an AC, further than that I cannot offer anything useful although I would agree with the Riley tack.

Lovely. Clearly the car in the (stretched) picture. The hinges, c pillar, bonnet vents, fuel filler location etc are identical.
