Wind noise seal

I know a few GTRs are fitted with an extra seal along the top edge of the door frame to reduce wind noise. Can someone tell me how far round you take it?
I'm assuming it starts at the top of the door at about the point where the shut line becomes parallel with the centreline but am not sure how far round it goes from there. Past the mirror or all the way down?

I think this is something you will have to play with, particularly as all cars and door fitments will vary. I put some starting starting just below the buldge around the rod end hinge part and along the top, about a third of the way along. The drivers side I have done twice as the foam tends to shift over time and I was not completely sealing anyway. You perhaps need to gauge where there are gaps to fill, a piece of thin card slid in the gap and go from there.
