Anyone work at a BMW Dealer? Help with recall information

I've just picked up a BMW with a few issues to sort, but there are 3 outstanding recalls on it, which I've found after entering the VIN on BMW's website. Two come under "safety", which I assume are related to a highly publicised issue, and one comes under technical/quality "enhancement". From searching the codes, I think I've found what that one relates to. All of which are fine, but after extensive searching online last night regarding the issues there are with the car, several people in the UK have said they had these issues sorted under a recall, but people who have responded on the various forums have stated when they mentioned to their BMW dealer that it was a recall, they said no and quoted a substantial figure to sort it. Then those who claimed to have it sorted under recall said it wasn't something that was physically being recalled, but was considered an "enhancement" over substandard original parts and would be done FOC when the car was in for service or whatever. Possibly this is something which could have since expired by now.

Anyway, if I were to call my local dealer, I'm sure they could book me in for the recalls shown as outstanding, but may not give any details about other such recalls, or if indeed it is something which has been done previously, so if a friendly BMW person may be able to check and advise, it would be very much appreciated!
