Fiesta Mk7 starting problem ?
Discussion
My Wiifes 2014 Fiesta ecoboost failed to start this morning.
Assumed it was battery and stuck it on charge, tried it just now and just gave a click, got out, rocket it in 4th gear back and forth and it started, turned it off, wouldnt start, did the rocking again and it started fine a coupel of times before I went back to work.
Any ideas, solenoid, relay ?
What should I try ?

Years ago cars were fitted with Inertia starter motors and they would sometimes stick In mesh, pushing more than rocking a car In gear would often release an Inertia starter motors pinion from the flywheel
Your car has a pre-engaged starter and rocking it should have no affect
At a guess, when you're rocking the car the engine is moving a little which is curing bad battery connections, a bad engine block earth or bad battery positive connection at the starter solenoid
