Where do you want to see "Behind the scenes"?
Discussion
Having spent a long time working at airports, I've seen many of the places that the general public don't get to see when they go through. Some of it is not very interesting of course, but those documentary series seem to draw in lots of viewers.
Recently though, I saw an advert for the opportunity to go on a "behind the scenes" tour of an Amazon warehouse. It really didn't grab me as somewhere I would be keen to go, but seemingly lots of people have expressed an interest and its now available if you want.
But there must be lots of places where you'd love the opportunity to have a look around or even work in that others don't get to see?
For me, maybe not at the current time, but the inner workings of No 10 and the White House are both very appealing. It might be incredibly dull, who knows, but I'd love to go behind the scenes there.
Also - in before anyone says behind the scenes at Victoria's Secret fashion show or similar. That's a given.

Behind the scenes of Pistonheads (this site, not the beverage).
I imagine it would be a tiny office on a third floor of a dreary office block. One computer, one main employee and a thesaurus used vigorously to write their crappy articles. Sub-mods clicking frantically on anything vaguely offensive. Coffee machine doesn't work. Phone calls never answered as there aren't any. VW Golf R parked outside next to an Alpine on long term test.

The security services.
I imagine MI5 would be a bit dull, with lots of boring surveillance and analysis of mobile phone data, and absolutely nothing like Spooks at all.
MI6 would probably be much more fun, and it would be fascinating to learn about how they recruit and run foreign ‘assets’ in the 21st century.
GCHQ would be full of unbelievably bright geeks with Asperger’s who don’t function very well in any other environment. Cryptanalysis keeps the country safe while keeping them out of trouble....

Staff accomadation on a cruise ship.
That's something I'd like to see too.I heard from a submariner whom hot bedded / wet bunked for many years that it was preferable conditions on a sub to that for staff on a cruise ship.
It'd have been nice to have been behind the scenes on the Mount in Jerusalem in 34AD, or to be up there singing with the Choir Invisible when the Rapture comes.
