Battery Charger

I need a battery charger (one of those ones that plugs into the ciggy lighter). Where's best to go?

I assume it's a battery conditioner/trickle charger you want (to keep the battery topped up during storage), rather than a fast charger?

Accumate is probably the market leader; try Leven Technology is you can't find a dealer locally and need mail order.

I'd recommend the Accumate too, excellent conditioner that you can leave plugged in permanently. Gives me peace of mind, knowing that when I return from a 2 week holiday, I know my Cerb will start!

I bought mine on Ebay for half the retail price. Unfortunately, as I type, there aren't any auctions for one!

Loads of Optimates though, IIRC these are designed primarily for bikes.

I'd go with that. I paid £30 including postage for a new Accumate II with all the various leads, to connect either through battery terminals (eyes or crocs), DIN socket, cigarette lighter etc.

Halfords do a battery conditioner made by Drapers. It's a simple pregnant plug-style device that powers my 993's battery and cost only £20.
