Safety Recall - SRPC1858 ESP control unit software

Hi All. Not sure if unique to model '68 C43, but received a recall letter yesterday from MB UK for ESP control unit software update. Called today and booked in for Monday. Letter says 30 mins to fix and FOC. Garage booked it for 2 hr slot just to be sure. Is this a common recall, and for those who have had it done, any other issues emerging. Thanks
