GranCabrio rear seat

Hi. Don't know if anyone can help me with this. I fancy a GranCabrio, but for various reasons the big hump in the rear seat would be in the way. if this is removed, does it leave a flat surface. Thanks

I've not heard of anyone trying to remove it and without a wholesale redesign of the rear seats, I'm not sure how you'd go about doing it.

What's the issue with it as it is? It has two seats that can 'relatively' comfortably house a couple of moderately sized adults, or does well with children.
