Of course it is. The people here are predominantly well off or at the least middle class be that earned, made or inherited money. These people are also predominantly Conservative supporters. The Tories are still overwhelmingly the party of the middle and upper class.

Yes definitely, it's the most tory forum I've personally used. I'm personally left leaning centrist, but my social circle is 'very' left leaning so I enjoy discussing and observing the different angle. Not good to be in a bubble.


I don't see it as good or bad. Voting tory is a natural response to wanting to conserve ones gains accumulated through age. But it's certainly taboo to admit this kind of 'self interest' in some circles.

30%-40% of the country vote Tory. You are more likely to vote Tory if you are male, if you are older, if you are wealthier. This is primarily a car enthusiast site. Cars are an expensive hobby, it's one more popular with men, and of declining popularity amongst the young.

But as people we all have an opinion, regardless of political preference.

Why do you think anyone that differs from you is a tory? I differ from nearly everyone but I am not at all any party due to having a brain.

Who exactly are the hard left supporters. Look on the corbyn threads, he has virtually no support at all. Any poll shows hardly any labour voters let alone hard left supporters.

Most of the “lefties” on here appear to actually be traditionally centrist conservatives.

The people on here are too varied with their views to slap a simple label on.

I find people on here to be accommodating with a wide range of views.

I have posted views on soviet socialism, infrastructure spending, universal wage, communism and black poverty.

Counter points can sometimes be posted off the cuff but that’s fine, it is supposed to be a casual forum and i need an excuse for when my IQ drops and i quickly drunk-post on the arsenal or dirty take away thread.
