Just what it says really.

I've been wondering if it would be worth posting a wanted ad to help with my car search, and would be interested to know if anyone had actually found anything this way. I notice that the ads tend to be rather old.

Of course I suppose I could just post one and find out that way ... :)

cheers

Hello, I have placed a wanted advert for a 911/930 turbo 87-89 black but no joy as yet. I have had four very poor PPi's done in the last 18 months.
A lot of people see the Porsche badge on the front of the car and ask silly money for the car.

I have placed adverts on most web sites for my dream car.

Hope this helps you.

Yep - just bought a Ferrari 308 as a result of sticking one on the FOC site

Well worth sticking one in Porsche Post (since I assume you're talking about a wanted ad for a Porsche...) - I am pretty sure non-members can pay to advertise there - and how about the PCGB site...cue tumbleweed exiting stage left....

...and there's titanic, PH, Rennlist...all free....

On a slightly smaller scale I posted a wanted ad on PH for some wheel centres for the RUF speedlines on my 928 and got offered a set cheap within the day.
