In search for a fun small family car
Discussion
In the used market searching for a fun small family car. Sold my NA MX-5 and my R56 JCW since we need a boot big enough for push chair and most importantly a rear door for easy fitting car seat.
Little history of my own, other than the Mini and the MX-5, used to have a E36 and FD3S, those are something I found fun to drive. Test drove the A3 and Golf GTi, it is quick and handle corner well but not really fun to drive.
Currently own a 428i xDrive, quick, handle corner very well, very comfortable but steering feedback feel numb, remote, the 8 speed feel very smooth but not sporty as all. Have book a test on the Cooper S Clubman but like to see if there any more missing gems.
Only issue I have would be around 20-22k-ish budget and got to be auto because of my wife.
Shame the Focus ST do not offer The DCT with petrol.
